What are cost synergies vs. revenue synergies? Which are more reliable?
Answer
Cost synergies = operational savings from combining two companies (headcount reduction, redundant facilities, procurement scale, shared IT). Revenue synergies = incremental revenue from the combination (cross-selling, geographic expansion, combined product offerings).
